CO-ED GROUPS

Every Good Endeavor by Tim Keller—led by Sarah Curtis —meets Tues. 7:30-8:30 am (Kilo)

God gives each of us talent and intellect. He gives each of us a “calling” to the work that we do. But how does that calling play out in our daily lives? Join us as we work through what it means to answer our calling, what it means to work, and how we can find meaning in our work.

The Book of James (Bible)—led by Tim Tallis & Emily Albers—meets Wed. 8 -9 am (Echo)

This ongoing group focuses on books of the Bible and encourages open and honest feedback about how we personally feel about the Scripture we are reading and how it can be related to everyday life.

The Pursuit of God by AW Tozer—led by Celina Mowrey, Adam Crutchfield, Michael Howell, & Tyler Haddad—meets Tues AM or Wed AM (based on group preference) (Sierra)

It is only fitting that Tozer, a man born into poverty and a self-educated theologian, would turn an overnight journal session on a train ride into one of the classic works on the Christian life. This little book will pack a punch, challenging readers with who God is and how they can grasp more of God.

Group-Steered—led by Sarah Hill—meets Wednesdays 12 – 1 PM (Kilo)

This group will spend time engaging with the inspiring I Am Second video series that features athletes, actors, and musicians. It will also discuss Lee Strobel’s The Case for Christ. Following those sessions, the group will decide on future direction.

The Daniel Plan—led by Kathy Terlep—meets Wednesdays 5 – 6 PM (Alpha)

Losing weight . . . we know we “need” to do it but just can’t find the deep down motivation to make it happen.  What’s missing?  Connection.  Connection between your head and your heart, connection with others on the same path, and connection with God and honoring what He’s given you.  Let’s take a journey into Biblical insight on becoming all God intended us to be.

With by Skye Jethani—led by George Ashton—meets Fridays 12-1 PM (Alpha)

The book, “With” looks at four ways that many people relate to God: living Under God, living Over God, living From God, and living For God; and then provides insights on what it can look like to be living “With” God.

The Me I Want to Be by John Ortberg—led by Christina Dablemont & Brittny Goran—meets Thursdays 7:30 – 8:30AM (Charlie)

This study will focus on discovering the uniqueness of you… how God has created us all differently. Stop wishing you were someone else, instead be more of who you already are.

If You Want to Walk on Water, You’ve Got to Get Out of the Boat by John Ortberg—led by Randy Raw—TBD, 7 AM or 12PM (dependent upon group) (Alpha)

We will look at what it means to have the faith that Peter had when Jesus commanded him to “Come” and walk on water. If you are interested in knowing more about how to develop this level of faith, what it means to discern God’s will for your life, or are just interested in some interesting conversations, come and join us.

Prodigal God by Tim Keller—led by Danny Tharp & Andrew Stewart—TBD, 7 AM (Echo)

This study will challenge the perspectives of skeptics, seekers, and believers with an intellectual approach to the Christian message, while also examining how Christians are called to love others.

A Modern Girl’s Guide to Bible Study by Jen Hatmaker –led by Leigh Ann Wanserski & Meggie Hess—meets Thursdays 11AM – 12PM  (between Echo and Zulu)

MEN’S GROUPS

Wild at Heart by John Eldredge—led by Rod Dablemont—TBD (TBD)

Most men abandon their dreams to be a hero, to be a warrior, to live a life of adventure and risk, for a Christianity that feels like nothing more than pressure to be a “nice guy.” Come engage about a God who designed men to be dangerous, passionate, wild, and free, and find out how that can shape your life.

Yankee Men’s Group–led by Brian Vrbicek & Alex Reinhart—TBD (Yankee)

This group meets in Yankee, and seeks to create a community of men who want to grow in their faith, their family, their career, and build friendships that go beyond sports, weather, and news (but will talk about those things too!). Open to any men of the company, but meets in Yankee.

Courageous Dads Group—led by Kaleb Long & Greg Steinhoff—meets Wednesdays 7AM (between Echo and Zulu)

Calling all dads! This group is perfect for those seeking to lead and love well in the role of “father” and all that entails. Study will be based on the movie/study “Courageous”, and this group will seek to promote faith and accountability for dads.
