On October 15th, we’ll have a Faith Forum at our Uniform location from 12:00 – 1:00 (food served at 11:45). The topic of the talk will be wisdom and living a life with purpose.

Too many of us stumble into (and out of) jobs, marriages, financial decisions. If things go “okay,” we count it as a success; when thing blow up, we deem ourselves unlucky. This is a ludicrous way to live, and it is not one that inspires others to trust you, to follow you, or, gulp, even to grow in love for you. A big reason why lives and relationships derail is a lack of purposeful, vision-saturated decision-making. Matt Gordon will speak on this topic, and we’ll consider advice from the ages, and hopefully grow into people who make better (WISER) decisions, and hence become better employees, spouses, friends, and parents.

  1. “I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life..” -Mr. Thoreau. May God lead us all towards the deliberate lives he has planned for us. Looking forward to this talk.
