By Walt Walton
Hard to see clear through the window pain, it often made my judgment so cloudy
Like judging a book by its cover, there’s nothing that they know about me
If you can dissect all my dialect in my progress
This gift has sent me on a conquest, hope you all understand & get the concept
I learned to try not to lose track & to try to stay focus
In order to see a clearer picture, you can’t live life hopeless
Learn to know God we’re created in His image & essence
Often forgetting to count all our blessings
Invest & spend some time in His word, let the sword of the spirit be your weapon
I remember years as adolescence, I had made a confession
But I never really seemed to repent properly or change
God showed me His grace, for all that need Him He’s never out of range
Sinful world & we all fall short of His glory in many ways
Give no opportunity to the devil; & don’t let your soul be detained
God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us
We didn’t deserve it, but He did it anyways, so its Him that we praise
Mama said, I remember those days
Caged birds can’t fly free so they learn to sing
“O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
He gave it All!
