Meet The Team
Walt Walton
Faith and Community Coordinator
I’m happily married and Valerie and I have 3 boys. It’s been a journey . . .
A journey full of wonderful people I get to come across as we strive to enhance lives together. So grateful to be a part of a community that generates so much UNITY.
Morgan Stoecklein
Faith and Community Coordinator
Love story old as time: I met Cole while we were both employed at the Gulf Shores McDonald’s. We find joy in attending Mizzou football games, and trespassing by strolling the private path through the Highlands, which is not our neighborhood. I’ve got a thing for cooking, coffee shops, and a sweet spot for ice cream. Fifty-cent corn dogs are my jam and you can pretty much convince me to play a board game at any hour of the day.
Matt Gordon
Director of Faith and Community
Born as a baby, here on earth. Got a bizarro-awesome family and a job. Dreams? I’d like to bowl a 200 and go to a waterpark again sometime. When I'm not hanging with my family, I give talks and write things (like occasional books). I'd love to connect about faith/work/life.
Kelly Wright
Faith and Community Specialist
Before VU, I was a professional counselor for 18 years and in ministry for 6. I met my husband, Hartley, on the school bus, and we've been on a wonderful journey together ever since. Madison and Micah are our children. I'm an 8w7 (IFYKYK!).
Heather Cox
Faith and Community Coordinator
I’m a wife to a funny guy and mom to a funny teenager. I love Jesus, being with my family, reading and running – when my friends join in on any of those things, life is even better.
Damon Fontinel
Faith and Community Specialist
Hey there, my name is Damon. I’m the senior citizen of the group, yet somehow by far the most tech savvy--seriously, what is wrong with this team? Been married to my lovely wife Paula for over three decades and we have one son, Blake.
Brock Bondurant
Faith and Community Coordinator
I live for Jesus and transformation – renewal and revival of the individual person, the city, and
culture. Other than my wife, I have a few obsessions: Missouri sports, pour over coffee, and rivers and mountains; so look for me at Faurot, a downtown coffee shop, or on my bike on the Katy Trail.
